Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, announced that their next-generation Web3 smartphone "Seeker" began shipping to over 50 countries worldwide on August 4th. This device is the second generation Web3 phone launched by Solana Mobile, and it is a more affordable version following the "Saga."

Since "Seeker" opened for pre-order in January this year, it has received a warm response from the market. The number of pre-orders has exceeded 150,000 units, covering 57 countries, highlighting the strong interest of global users in Web3 devices. Early pre-order customers enjoyed discounted prices of $450 and $500.

Solana Mobile announced on social media: "Seeker phones are officially shipping now! Thank you all for your support and trust in Solana Mobile from the very beginning." They stated that tens of thousands of devices will be sent to users around the world in the coming weeks.

This large-scale global shipment marks an important advancement of Web3 technology in the mobile device sector. The launch of "Seeker" not only showcases Solana's innovation in the application of blockchain technology but also reflects the growing market demand for smartphones that integrate blockchain functionalities.

With the popularity of "Seeker", we may see more users starting to explore and use decentralized applications (DApps), cryptocurrency wallets, and other Web3 features. This could drive the application of blockchain technology in daily life, providing users with a more secure and transparent digital experience.

However, the popularization of Web3 phones still faces many challenges, such as user education, ecosystem development, and regulatory compliance. How Solana Mobile addresses these issues, as well as the actual user experience of "Seeker", will become the focus of industry attention. As more users receive and use this device, we will be able to better assess the practicality and future development prospects of Web3 phones.
