In the past decade, although there have been countless records of short cycles with dozens or even hundreds of times returns, to be honest, I haven't had any positions that allowed me to sleep soundly. Ever since I truly reduced the leverage to below ten times, I achieved a maximum real trading profit of 42% in these 20 days, but I sleep very well every day. With low leverage and a huge space for hanging positions to arbitrage, I even fell asleep during last night's Federal Reserve meeting, despite being someone who usually pays close attention. It's not that I rely on pinbars and small positions for crazy high-frequency arbitrage and can ignore the direction; in fact, there is still a direction, and I am slightly bearish, mainly entering short at 117000. However, the market trend is more favorable for shorts. If I were arbitraging in the long direction at 117000, I estimate I could achieve an 80% return. What does the market say? Perhaps the market next month will be more favorable to me, and my win rate will then emerge, right? Moreover, my positions maintain both long and short with a strong liquidation trigger of tens of thousands of dollars in USD. With small leverage in operation, I can still achieve returns equivalent to dozens of times leverage, but my survival rate is significantly higher than the ten times leverage.
